In Affairs of the Haunt, Lilah and Cameron have been having a rough time, but hope moving to their new home in Harper’s Bay will give them a fresh start. However, they soon find their trouble has followed them in the form of a demon named Fel. The demon is in for a surprise of her own: the new house is haunted by the ghost of a former resident, Vivian Gilroy.

While the two specters initially butt heads over the best way to handle the human couple, the pair eventually begins to grow closer, finding the companionship they’ve each been without for countless years. But ghosts and demons can be haunted by the past just as easily as any human, and both Fel and Vivian have a lot to overcome before they’ll have any chance of resting in peace, either together or on their own.
